UNEC — The First in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus!

The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026 have been officially announced!

For the first time, UNEC has entered the THE World University Rankings and has been ranked first in Azerbaijan, first in the South Caucasus, and placed within the 801–1000 range globally.

Moreover, UNEC is the only Azerbaijani university to be listed among the top 1000 universities worldwide and has secured an impressive 481st position globally in research quality.
